Pear Christmas Ornaments

Arrange the marbled pears in a pretty dish and display them on a mantel. Attach a fine golden thread to the pear stems and dangle them on your Christmas Tree. Write names on each pear and they become exquisite place cards for your holiday tables, so that your guest gets a personalized gift.
Alternatives to Pears
If pears are not your fancy, there other faux fruit that can be found in the craft department of your local department store. All That Glitters
In addition to the wonderful jewel-tone colors of the Viva Decor Marble Metallic Inks, Viva Decor’s Glitter Pen Liner provides a delicate sparkle to the decorated pear. When used as a thin coat on the pear, it further enhances the jewel-like finish.
Use Viva Decor’s Glitter Pen Liner to write words or names on the faux pear. You will need to use three coats to achieve the thickness of the words and names as seen in this post’s photos, but the liner dries quickly and gives great results.
PROJECTS
Red Pear
Protect your hands by wearing craft gloves.
Randomly sponge the Gold Marble Ink onto the pear.
Randomly sponge the Red Marble Ink onto the pear, overlapping some of the Gold Marble Ink.
Let the inks dry.
Randomly sponge the Ruby Glitter Pen Liner over the marbled pear. Let the liner dry.
Randomly sponge the Gold Glitter Pen Liner over the marbled pear. Let the liner dry.
Tie one red and two gold ribbons around the base of the pear’s stem. Glue a gold ribbon rose in the center of the bow.
Use the Red Glitter Pen Liner to create tiny red dots on the red ribbon. Let the liner dry.

Other Materials:
Clear-drying, craft glue
Craft gloves
Faux pear
Ribbons: Gold, red
Soft sponge pieces (you can also use crumpled plastic bag pieces)
Green Pear - “Joy”
Protect your hands by wearing craft gloves.
Randomly sponge the Gold Marble Ink onto the pear.
Randomly sponge the Green Marble Ink onto the pear, overlapping some of the Gold Marble Ink.
Let the inks dry.
Randomly sponge the Yellow Quartz Glitter Pen Liner over the marbled pear. Let the liner dry.
Randomly sponge the Gold Glitter Pen Liner over the marbled pear. Let the liner dry.
Tie a green ribbon onto the base of the pear’s stem and glue in place.
Write the word “Joy” onto the pear with the Gold Glitter Pen Liner . Let the liner dry. Repeat this step twice to make the word dimensional.
Use the Gold Glitter Pen Liner to attach five crystals to the pear.

Blue Pear - “Anna”
Protect your hands by wearing craft gloves.
Randomly sponge the Gold Marble Ink onto the pear.
Randomly sponge the Blue Marble Ink onto the pear, overlapping some of the Gold Marble Ink.
Let the inks dry.
Randomly sponge the Sapphire Glitter Pen Liner over the marbled pear. Let the liner dry.
Randomly sponge the Holo Iridescent Glitter Pen Liner over the marbled pear. Let the liner dry.
Tie a sheer gold ribbon onto the base of the pear’s stem and glue in place.
Write the person’s name onto the pear with the Gold Glitter Pen Liner . Let the liner dry. Repeat this step twice to make the name dimensional.
